The A Squad of the 1959-60 school year started slowly but was in full swing as the football season drew to a dramatic close. Our first two games, with Union Grove and Waterford were lost 26-12 and 26-7 respectively. The escapade with Wilmot, our first conference game, was lost 6-2 but a humorous aspect of the affair was the time when our opponents ran the wrong way. ln the game against Delavan, our mighty eleven held the oppon- ents powerhouse until the last minute when Delavan rushed to make a touchdown. We lost with a final score of 6-0. The squad certainly spoiled the Homecoming for Niukwonago by defeating them 19-12. Badger of Lake Geneva won our Homecoming game from us with a 20-'T score. A muddy playing field at Whitewater, made it tough for the Squad and they lost 13-O. The night our squad played the Trojans of East Troy the rain felt like beads of ice but our team gave a good try losing to the champions by a score of 18-6. The final game of the season was played with Elkhorn. Our squad pounded a victory of 13-O to close the 1959 foozball season in fine style . The students of B. H. S. wish to thank the football players for giving us a team and a record to be proud of. Thank you boys and keep up the good work.
