Cipla. Classmates: We, the class of 1961, have reached the end of our high school days. We are about to step out into a world filled with untold new adventures and offering unlimited and challenging opportunities. Although we are anxious to step out into the new, we are reluctant to leave the old. We should like to remember Burlington High School forever as we leave it today and for the many close friends we have made. It is the purpose of this book to keep these many delightful memories alive. It is the Editor’s fond hope that in the years to come you will turn to these pages and recall the excitement of a basket- ball game, the pleasures attached to a prom, the hilarity of our senior play, some of our classroom adventures, and maybe memories of a friend you have not seen for years.
