The members demonstrated enthusiasm and dedication as performers, stageflighting crew, props 8: costumes staff and scenery artists. The Players' first production was Out the Window, a comedy skit by Richard W. Harris. A henpecked husband, the nagging Nana and wife set the stage for a hilarious flow of characters who fall out a fourth story window. A second production was Object Lesson , a one-act play based on a story by Ellery Queen. The audience was challenged to identify the guilty person and it was a hard choice indeed! Naturally, the mystery was solved after careful sleuthing by the master of mystery, Mr. Queen. The talents of student members from Commercial Art, Printing and Clothing Fab helped to make The Westampton Players' first season a great success! Ms. Jacqueline Poppalardo

Science teacher Linda Weber was chosen to be a participant in the NEWMAST HONORS WORKSHOP, sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the National Science Teachers Association. This two week workshop was held at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt Maryland. As a result of the workshop, an assembly was planned. Mr. Mike Caltrena, Aerospace Education Specialist working out of Goddard, presented a History of the Space Program: where we are right now and where we are going. The demonstration lecture program con- sisted of simple experiments and small scale models of space hardware to explain the basic scientific principle applied in the exploration of air and space. Volunteers were called upon from the audience. Everyone en- joyed seeing a fellow student modeling the space suit astronauts wore on the Apollo Mission. lt is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow. - Dr. Robert H. Goddard. They eat this on the space shuttle? Uh-oh the zippers stuck!! We have to clean up all this? Now let's see if it will fly ex, FF How many of you are interested in space? This is the home of the future?
