October 23, 1986 On Thursday night October 23 the atmosphere of our school was changed. Instead of groups of young people roaming through the halls, their parents were. They were greeted by the teachers and staff and were shown to their child's classes. Their teachers explained to the parents what their son or daughter was being taught and what the students were expected to accomplish in the class. Also, dur- ing their son or daughter's lunch period, Commer- cial Foods served refreshments in the Cafeteria. Eight periods and lunch too, what a full day. YAfter being on her feet all night even a student guide needs a rest. After a couple of classes people took a break in the cafeteria. Mrs. Jarvis explains the curriculum to the parents. if 7 X ll Z X1 Zn N any g a l l Jw T v ll gt ' ' lim i.ilf Ajit if 45 wt ' 1 if Excuse me, if you two don't be quiet l'm going to have to give you each a detention,

v 4 a , i angels go, trouble follows. Halloween is a day for makeup, kids' laughter, and most of all enjoyment. It is the day we can wake up and become whatever we want to be, whether it be a ghost, goblin or witch. Halloween is for people of all ages. This is the day when all the spirits are unleashed and allowed to roam free. But beware because some may try to make you become like them. Don't feel frightened if you see a black cat or hear a voice whispering in the wind. For at midnight they'll all disappear to return again next year. ,sw V Peace! and sidekicks N. if .
