October 23, 1986 On Thursday night October 23 the atmosphere of our school was changed. Instead of groups of young people roaming through the halls, their parents were. They were greeted by the teachers and staff and were shown to their child's classes. Their teachers explained to the parents what their son or daughter was being taught and what the students were expected to accomplish in the class. Also, dur- ing their son or daughter's lunch period, Commer- cial Foods served refreshments in the Cafeteria. Eight periods and lunch too, what a full day. YAfter being on her feet all night even a student guide needs a rest. After a couple of classes people took a break in the cafeteria. T f' OUR SCHOOL Our school Vo-Tech is a school of the arts. Trades are our specialty. Teaching is in their heart. They love to teach us students the way of life. To educate us to teach us what is right. So students, this school is not so bad. If you don't stay, you'll wish you had! lack Carey FRIENDS As I sit upon the window pane, I know life without you, won't ever be the same. Remembering the good times and the bad. Remembering the happy times and the sad. You were hurting down deep inside, hiding all your feelings which made me cry. I was your friend you're supposed to let me know, what feelings you have, that you never show We were best friends, from the very start always together, never apart. Now you're gone and things aren't the same, but never in a lifetime our friendship shall change. Tamika Steed
