Irvin I Advisor Attorneys and witnesses went to court on February 19, 1987 to fight for the rights of Vincent Taylor who took his former employer to court on charges of sex discrimination QVince is a male nurse.j The attorneys fSarah Oakman and Michelle Leej along with their witnesses QFran Myers, Gladys Williams, and Rich Clawelly won the decision against the defense QTamika Steed and Shahidah Hartj and their witnesses fGa1e Warriner and Melanie Morganj. The jurors fKathy Tucker, Greg Davis, Monique jenkins, lay Seidle, Ien- nel Morris, Brian Cook, and Maryanne Muellerj decided in favor of Vince Taylor, who had been fired for negligence. With all the efforts of advisor Mr. Irvin and coach, Lawrence Elutari, Esq., a local lawyer, the team brought home a victory against Willingboro H.S. and Burlington Twp. H.S. in the preliminary round. The team made it to the final rounds on February 26th. Again the team showed off their superior skills in defense law against Holy Cross H.S., Delran I-I.S., and St. Mary's Doane Academy. The team ended up plac- ing THIRD in the county and was the top public high school team in the county. Our CONGRATULA- TIONS tq all who competed!
