411 .Quferzf oifemmemt The students ot Burley High School are proud to have a government that so closely resembles our nation's, it is truly representa- tive ot the students, The president is elected by popular vote from the senior class. The vice-president is a junior whose main duty is to preside over the Senate. The secretary and treasurer are recommended by the commerce teachers, their positions are confirmed by the Senate. This body consists of elected representatives from each ot the three classes, tor a term ot one semester, at the end of which time a new election is held. The l-louse, composed ot the faculty and the School Court, made up ot appointed members from each class, com- plete the democratic organization.
