Your quick wit and broad sense of humor have made us laugh when things were not at their best. You show your interest in us through teaching in the distributive education program and sponsoring the DECA organization. In the classroom, you have taught us how to accept responsibility and how to cope with all different kinds of people. You have hosted many of our assemblies and helped to make them more enjoyable. lt is with honor and appreciation that we dedicate this annual to you, Mr. Buddy lVlcKee. I il, 5 lawn --...P School Board '73-'74 They Make Things Easier n I ,' . w I believe, we should all be alert to excesses in all areas of our society, both public and private, however, l am convinced that we are the most fortunate people in the history of the world. The present generation has attained more accomplishments than any other since the beginning of time, but there is still much work to be done. There are aims to be met, hopes to be realized and goals to be attained. I challenge you, the students of Burleson High School, not to minimize the need for greater effort in these areas. I believe these hopes and .f goals will be attained by men and si Paid do ' ti' f women of your generation who be- lieve in God, honor the Ten Com- mandments, respect the Constitu- tion and have faith in the American System. Don't let anyone tell you or sell you on the idea that yours is a sick society. lt's far from perfect, but is also the most enlightened, most un- selfish, most compassionate in the KX bah history of the world.
