DEDICATION To a friend and competent administrator the Annual Staff of 1962 proudly dedicates this volume of the BEARKAT to Mr. W. B. Miller. Mr. Miller has worked 28 years in the Burkeville School system. He has devoted the major portion of a lifetime to his home community for it was within the bounds of this school district that he was born and reared. Mr. Miller has worked diligently to promote the welfare of the Burkeville School. He has exhibited characteristics that have resulted in success. He has been VERSATILE. He has held the position of teacher, principal, vocational agriculture instructor, and the superintendent of this school. In all places he has been COMPETENT, LOYAL, and PROGRESSIVE. From his guidance and direction have come an enlargement of the school district, a modern school plant, and an effective school curriculum. Contributions of such lasting value speak for themselves. Every student will always experience a feeling of gladness when they recall Mr. Bill. Thou shalt be served thyself by every sense Of service which thou renderest - Elizabeth Barrett Browning
