This same evenflul year lhe Senior Class ol Burlceville High School of I945-46 sfarfed on 'lhe pafhway +o educaiion. Many were in differenl schools. buf we all had aboul 'lhe same fighis and good limes. We radually grew in slafure and knowledge and 'Finally in i942 we found our- selves unc?er fhe same school roof. There were many of us in one room al 'lhal 'lime so 'rhe roof. was probably a Ii++le bulged. Our main sporl' was baslcelball. which field we enfered in our 'Freshman year and affer four years of ups and downs. we have many pleasanl memories. The freshman and sophomore years passed swif+Iy. By 'lhe lime we reached lhe Junior Class. we were fhoroughly broken in+o high school life end had ob+eined cour- age 'ro be mean-dealing +he Seniors fhe mos+ misery. The Junior play. Hear1' Trouble. was a success. and our banquef honoring fha Seniors of I945 will well be remembered for many years. The Junior Class honored 'rhe Seniors of '46 wi+h a ban uel' on March 22 which will long be remembered as one of 'rhe Ias+ big even+s of our appy high school days. Qi Our final appearance before gradualion was made on April I2. when we pre- senfed Busy as a Beaver. a farce-comedy wilh a cas+ of lhirieen. The proceeds of 'lhis Elay he ped us 'ro defray lhe expenses of lhe long-loolced-forward-lo Senior Trip whic was made on April 26. This, our lasl year in dear ole' Burlceville High School, has been pleasanl' and smoofh-running. On Sunday. May I2, we solemnly. bui' proudly, enlered 'rhe high school audilorium as graduales for lhe Baccalaureafe Sermon. This memorable occa- sion impressed us wifh lhe deep responsibilily which is ours in serving our fellowman.
