It's a bummer for ys when . . . Your little sister has to tell you about the Facts of Life. You ask a girl out and she refuses, saying she has to go to Bible study. You go to a job interview and you can't remember your name. You don't shave for a month in an attempt to grow a beard, and everyone tells you that your face is dirty. You wax your car and the paint comes off. You try to impress a girl by doing a burnout in your truck and you crash into a tree. You take a girl out on a date to an expen- sive restaurant and when the check comes, you don't have enough money to cover it. You shoot your best basket of the basket- ball season in the Wrong basket. You think you've fixed your car and then it won't even start. You take your girlfriend out to dinner and the waitress asks you if you're under 12. Wishing that her experiment would work, Staci Bar- nitt laughs about her results.
