To the Students of Burkburnett High School Let me define the purpose and policy of our school system, and then let each of us devote his time to make it work: To develop a philosophy of education to meet the needs of the boys and girls in Burk- burnett as they live in a democratic society and to guide them through all their lives. It shall be the policy of the Burkburnett Schools that the students be trained as an integrated whole and that every teacher shall evaluate every experience and every bit of subject matter which she presents to the stu- dent from the standpoint of its contribution to the students total development. Will you join with me in the determination to make Burkburnett High School a greater force Superintendent Burkburnett Public Schools for good? The teachers and students that are housed in the High School Building are to be commended for the wonderful spirit of cooperation they have shown in the semi- crowded condition this year. The entire student body has, throughout the year, merited the compliments often paid them, namely one of the best mannered, most appreciative, and the most courteous group of students found anywhere. It is my hope that added conveniences in the future till amply repay every one for our present short- comings.
