Halph Davis is active in social, civic. and religious circles. He is c active member of the Rotary Club and assistant teacher of the Men's Bible Cla: of the First Baptist Church. During the summer Mr. Davis spends a great dec of time on his father's bee farm in Howe. Texas. During his leisure time. Mr. Davis enjoys reading current magazines. D. F. DOUGLAS. PHIN. Beginning his administration six years ago in Burkburnett High School as principal, Mr. D. F. Douglas has been prominient in sponsoring renewed student activities and fostering better school spirit. Mr. Douglas received his previous training in North Texas State. where he received a B. S. degree. and East Texas State, where , he received an M. S. degree. He majored in business administration and in math- emat ics. Too, Mr. Douglas is active in the Lions Club and the Central Christian Church. He served as Tax Assessor and Collector for five years. Mr. Douglas spends his leisure time playing cro- quet. smoking cigars, going to the movies. and acting in the annual Lions' Minstrel Show.
