FOREWORD And now another year has passed,and we,as another Senior Class offer the Oracle as our last endeavor as students at Burgin High School Herein are recorded and pictured the social and academic events of our school days,We refrain from being sentimental for, although we are saying goodbye to persons and surroundings which havo grown dear to us,we are anxious to step out into the world and prove our right to our heritage We realize that wo shall find tears where we expected smiles,but we arc confident that our faith in ourselves and our ideals, together with the philosophy that honesty and hard work will accomplish anything,will guide us through unpleasant situations. So,wc give you tho Oracle of 1939 with the hope that it will serve to bi xl us closer to our Alma Mater.
