CLASS PROPHECY In Wilmington we learn that Floyd Rivenbark has taken over the Comedy Hour on Channel 6. Two of his main comedians are Phyllis Wooten and Ronald Wooten. Now we'll go to Florida and make one quick stop in Tampa to visit Miss Mamie Chadwick, who has started a chain of stores all around the world, Mamie's 5 and 10. Our next stop is California. In many stores we see advertised a new formula for a lipstick that cannot be removed without a special cream. This lipstick was invented by Miss LaVonne, the former Miss Bedie McKoy. Also, we visit Miss Antoinette, the former Miss Jo Ann Riggs, who is now a hair stylist working for Metro Goldwyn Mayer. While we are in the wild and woolly West, we call on Mrs. Judy Ruddell, who together with her husband, owns a large ranch where they raise riding ponies. Their ranch is located in Oklahoma. We are going to travel to Alaska to visit another close friend of Miss Moore's, Miss Ann Batson, who has been sent by the President on a special mission to Alaska. While Miss Batson is there, she will visit a dear friend whom she hasn't seen since she was about seventeen years old. Now back in the states, we stop in Chicago and see Miss Ellen Lanier, who has become one of the most noted social workers in the United States. After our little chat with Miss Lanier, we notice crowds rushing to a large fire. We see the Chief of the Fire Department, Eugene Wells, rushing to and fro. Nothing anyone has had to say has added any clues to the case of the missing jewels. We shall travel on to New York to see if our luck is any better. Our first stop will be at a very exclusive night club, The Silver Cane. We find out that the owners are Philip Moore and Don Augustine. We rush to have a talk with Mr. David Marshburn and Mr. Vernon Murray, who have kindly consented to spare us a few minutes of their time before leaving on another wild game hunt in Africa. Well, up to this point,no one has helped us very much. In fact, we have no information to addat all. While we are resting, we decide to turn on television and watch a quiet program. The program is none other than Matinee Theater, of which the producer is Don Barber. The play now showing on the theater is Murder in the Night, which has been revised many times for many different theaters by the great writer, Miss Mary Ann Kraynick. Two of the leading members in the cast are Miss Oola La, the former Miss Patsy Croom, and Miss Bright Star, the former Miss Betty Lou Richardson, both of whom gave such superb performances in the Junior play while in high school. After the play is over, we switch stations in time to catch the last few minutes of the crowning of Miss Universe. The title goes to our own lovely Miss Virginia Williams. We would give up hope here, but there is another stop, so we won't be discouraged until the very end. At the last stop, we enter the office of the world-famous fashion designer, Madame Betty Lou Powers. We see two gracious models, Carolyn Cooper and Jane Chadwick, standing on a platform modeling lovely evening gowns. As we come closer, we discover that they are wearing the stolen jewels. Of all the people we have seen and had planned to visit, the very ones who were mixed up in the stealing of the jewels, were the last ones on our list of her friends. But now, this case is closed and sealed and is never to be opened again by Miss Mary Hazel Moore. Signed: Sergeant Friday and Officer Smith (Alias: Carolyn Cooper and Jane Chadwick) 26
