Their first public appearance was at the Christmas program given in the Auditorium on December 22 where they rendered several selections in keeping with the season ac- companied by the piano and band-Santa Claus is Coming to Town, White Christmas, Winter Monderland, Silent Night, and We wish Vou a Merry Chrlstras. We sang, also, at the Senior Commencement exercises on June l. First sopranos were: Joyce Shofner, Helen Erickson, Hilda Foushee, Marilyn Heuer, Doris Bellg second sopranos: Carol Heuer, Marjorie Eickmeier, Phyllis Fundell, Marilyn Lang: alto: Caryl Hoover, Jo Anne Thompson, Juanita Jontz, Mary Hartz, Dorothy Reynolds. Janet Andersen was the accompanist. As in previous years, selected members of the Chorus attended the County Music Festival at Spring Valley on April 22 to participate in a massed chorus of students from nearly all of the high schools in the county. This privilege of joining in singing with hundreds of other high school students is the high light of the year and is an- ticipated by every member of our Chorus. .
