All of ue had come through the Freshman year together except Jo Anne, who came from Galena, and Jim, who came from Sheffield. In the first week of school we elected our class officers, as fol- lows: Juanita, presidsntg Orin, vice-presidentg Jo Anne, secretaryg Roger, treasurerg and Doris, reporter. For our advisor we chose Mrs. Thompson. As a means of raising funds for our treasury we decided to sell candy during the school year. It was our privilege - one of great delight - to plan the first social event of the year, the Freshman Initiation. Everyone in high school was invited to the party and many helped to see that each freshmen was properly initiated. The members of the class had a part in several of the school activi- ties. Those who played ln the band were: Doris, Juanita, Roger, Dorm othy, and Jo Anne. The Senior play cast called on Roger for one of the character parts. Juanita, Doris, Orin, and Jo Anne assisted in presenting the glay. Sophomoree were need also in the Junior Play cast in the Spring. cger performed capably on the regular basketball team, and all the boys were active in the athletic program. Juanita was one of the cheerleaders. W' sof a., go, -. RWM!! Ink an A MIM!!! Ls s. xt t ,.l.4ogLa ,l.A,L,L, 'K-L.o,f ,.eu.z-f.sesxsm.eav A . ,. .t 2' Qc .4 J 1, t M 2 f i1 ' .'.. .'
