Victor M. Schott The last hour of his life was typical of his work, the final flowering of weeks of preparation for the pleasure of his pupils and their parents. He gave liberally of himself to his school, friends and family. Everything he did was planned, his pupils trained, so there was a feeling of pleasurable anticipation bj? his audiences. He subordinated his desires to those of others. His tolerance to the shortcomings of humans was saintlike. He was by example a true teacher, an inspiration to his pupils and colleagues. He had no enemies, only friends. His creed was kindness. Victor Schott passed away as he was conducting the All Schools Symphony in the Berkeley High School Community ' Theater the evening of May 22, 1932. -H.A.S.
