Our first day here on Hospital Hill Filled with excitement and awe, We looked ahead with hope in our hearts And were amazed with all we saw. Our fun-festive Weenie roast Was our first treat, For at this October gathering Our Big Sisters we did meet. The College studies some were braving, Others Nursing Arts Striving steadily towards the goal We held so dearly in our hearts. Studying day and night, Burning the midnight oil, Final Exams were here, For knowledge we did toil. How well we remember those long ago d When we spent so much time in class. We were probies young and green, Oh that bed bath, will I pass? Proctor duties, what a chore, Checking here and there. But it was made certain That we each got our share. February found us at the Formal Enjoyed of course by all, Except for those on relief, And others who were on call. It seemed so very far away, Then it finally came. That wonderful day of capping, Another stepping stone toward our aim. New responsibilities We now did undertake - Surgery, D. K., Obs. and Night Duty How did We stay awake???? ays E Z
