g ' Today's good grooming classes provide the girls with a chance To better their appearances as well as their minds. Just as many fingers were pricked in The sewing classes of old as are in our mod- ern sewing classes of today. The typing classes of thirty years ago weren't much different from those of to- day, for they stressed skill and accuracy as well as speed. Home economics courses, such as this cooking class, were offered to help the girls prepare for their future just as the shop classes, like this wood shop, were made available for the boys.
