She is also an advisor Tor The Girls' League. Serving as a senior English Teacher is Mr. Jaffie. He is also The Boys' League advisor. Mr. Nesel, a new member of The TaculTy, is an AUTO Shop insTrucTor and The assisTanT baseball coach. The print shop Teacher is Mr. Fredricksen, To whom The 1953 CERALBUS was dedicaTed. He and his sTuclen'fs prinT The Hi-Life, The CERALBUS, and many posTers and office Torms. Life Science Teacher ancl head Track coach aT BHS is Mr. McMurry. Mr. Campbell Teaches Bookkeep- ing and General Business and helps keep The school finances in order. The CloThing Teacher is Mrs, Banks, who is an advisor of The Girls' League. AnoTher Teacher who is acTive in The Girls' League is Miss Vaughn, a World HisTory Teacher. TOP: Mr. Fredricksen shows Mr. Nesel The funcTions of The print shop's cylinder press. Teachers Plan A school teacher's iob is one requiring patience, understanding, and hard vvorlc. Our teachers at BHS exhibit all ot these qualities as they work together to teach us today to be capable citizens of tomorrow. Mr. Johnson is a sophomore English teacher. Miss Weinstock is also an English teacher. She serves as the advisor ot the Assembly Committee and the sponsor ot the Scholarship Club. Mr. Rankin teaches General Business and Business Typing. Mr. Boggis heads the BHS Music Department. He leads the Orchestra and the A Cappella and directs the operetta which is given each spring. One ot the mathematics teachers is Mr. Clark. Mr. Bates teaches Art and advises the Publicity Committee. The BHS Machine Shop teacher is Mr. Kotahl. Mr, Driscoll is the Mechanical Drawing in- structor. Mrs. Adams teaches Beginning and Advanced Sports, sponsors the GAA, and is the Social Committee advisor, The Modern Dance teacher is Miss Wolfson, who also advises the Rally Committee. Miss Flatley teaches Physical Education and advises the GAA and the Social Committee, TOP: Mr. Bates shows Mr. Driscoll and Mr. Kotahl an auto design done by one ot his students. Three new teachers at BHS are Mr. Carden, Miss Nager, and Miss Willis. Mr. Carden is the Speech and Drama teacher. He directs the Senior Play which is given each semester.
