Mr. A. G. Ogborn, Principal lvlr, Ogborn has served as principal of Burbank High School since 1940, possessing an understanding of students which many fail to attain. He has gained the respect of the entire student body through his tactful ways and friendly manner, and his leadership has done much to promote our high school to a prominent rank. Mr. Ogborn is always happy to join us in our many school activities and because of his abundant school spirit, he stands as an example before us, Noted for friendliness and sincerity to the stu- dents are girls' dean Katherine A. Dwire, who serves as an advisor of the Z Club and Girls' League, Ed Bedigan, boys' vice principal, who has quite a sense of humor, and Theodore Kopp, registrar for both BHS and Burroughs. These administrators have done a fine job, and we, of the student body, appreciate their efforts. Our Administrators Are The MR. KOPP, Mrs. Dwire, and Mr. Bedigan discuss the possible purchase of a new set of textbooks.

Teachers Plan A school teacher's iob is one requiring patience, understanding, and hard vvorlc. Our teachers at BHS exhibit all ot these qualities as they work together to teach us today to be capable citizens of tomorrow. Mr. Johnson is a sophomore English teacher. Miss Weinstock is also an English teacher. She serves as the advisor ot the Assembly Committee and the sponsor ot the Scholarship Club. Mr. Rankin teaches General Business and Business Typing. Mr. Boggis heads the BHS Music Department. He leads the Orchestra and the A Cappella and directs the operetta which is given each spring. One ot the mathematics teachers is Mr. Clark. Mr. Bates teaches Art and advises the Publicity Committee. The BHS Machine Shop teacher is Mr. Kotahl. Mr, Driscoll is the Mechanical Drawing in- structor. Mrs. Adams teaches Beginning and Advanced Sports, sponsors the GAA, and is the Social Committee advisor, The Modern Dance teacher is Miss Wolfson, who also advises the Rally Committee. Miss Flatley teaches Physical Education and advises the GAA and the Social Committee, TOP: Mr. Bates shows Mr. Driscoll and Mr. Kotahl an auto design done by one ot his students.
