senior Athlete of the year Kurt Twining, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Twining, was named the Senior Athlete of the Year at the annual All-Sports Banquet. Twining earned 7 varsity letters throughout his high school career --3 in track, 2 in football, and 2 in basketball. He was also active in Letterman's Club, National Honor Society, band, and was a -class officer Best Girl Athlete The Best Girl Athlete award goes to a girl who has been an active member of GAA and exhibits athletic ability and sportsmanship. The Best Girl Athlete of 1973 was Kathie Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Miller. Kathie was a member of GAA for four years and was active in bowling intramurals She was also a member of Pep Club and was a co-op at Dow Corning. 75
