Valedictorian Vickie Hagley was named valedictorian of the class of 1973 with a 3.97 grade point average. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hagley. Vickie has been very active in school activ- ities at B.C. including National Honor Society, GAA, bowling intramurals, Latin Club, Co-op Club, Debate, Forensics, skiing, Science Quiz, Home Ec Club and Pep Club. As a junior she was pre- sented the chemistry award and attended the High School Honors Science Program at MSU. Asa senior she was named a National Merit Finalist. Vickie was em- ployed as a co-op at the Dow Corning Corporation, Salutatorian Ann Blumer was named saluta- torian with a grade point average of 3.80. Ann is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Philip Blumer. She, too, has been involved in many student activities during her high school years. Included in these activities are National Honor So- ciety, Co-op Club, Latin Club, Student Council, GAA, and year- book staff. She was a class officer for two years. Ann attended the High School Honors Science Pro- gram at MSU as a junior and re- ceived the senior math award as a senior, She was a co-op in a re- search lab at Dow Corning. Other seniors in the upper ten per cent of the graduating class were Norine Blubaugh, Ken Lash- uay, Mary Juengel, Ronda Haggit, Wendy Nelson, Donna Herring- shaw, Jeffrey Holmsen, Duane Otey, Denise McIntosh, Pat Se- crist, and Kurt Twining.
