Varsity Wrestling Inexperience and injuries palgued the Lancers with only four seniors on the varsity squad. This year two Lancers went to the state match, Joe Buckey and Jeff Walters. These same two shared the Most Valuable Wrestler award of the 71-72 season. Hank Post, a first year wrestler, was awarded the Most Improved Wrestler title.
