135 New problems require new approaches, particularly the increasingly tough prob- lems that come with our in- creasingly technological civi- lization. The advocacy of new approaches has always been associated with youth, and with good reason. Dow Corning is a youthful com- pany, both in years (28) and outlook. We have based our success on creating molecules never found in nature, and tailoring them to meet man- kind’s needs.
