Honor Students Valedictorian Mary Linton (RIGHT) was named valedictorian of the 1972 graduating class with a 3.81 point average. Mary is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Linton. In addition to being elected to the National Honor Society, Mary was very active in the school's extra- curricular activities. During four years of high school she played in the band, was a member of Cam- pus Life, Bowling Intramurals and Girl's Athletic Association. She participated in forensics for three years and was a class officer for four years. Salutatorian Candee Landis was named salu- tatorian with a 3.7 point average. Candee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Colter Landis. She too was named to the National Honor So- ciety and has a varied background in extra-curricular activities in- cluded four years of band, three years of debate, two years on the forensic team and three years on the student countil, where she served as secretary. She was also a member of the Latin Club and the Home Economic Club. Candee was also named recipient of the DAR good Citizen Award as a represen- tative of BCHS. Selection was based on dependability, service, patrio- tism, and leadership.
