An elated queen Lill, our Swedish import is crowned during Prom ceremonies at the Sky Room by Mr. Oliver Juengel, principal. The class of ‘71 held the Jr-Sr Prom at the Sky Room at Tri-City Airport. A buffet dinner was served there before the arrival of the band, ‘The Ones, The Theme and Title of the 1970 Prom were Now is Forever and A Beginning with the Stars. ALL NIGHT PARTY HELD | A first for the class of '70 was an ‘ all night Senior Class Party from 11 p.m. to5 a.m. at the Community Center. Included were the Pioneer Room, the Youth Center, the Mirror Room, the ping-pong room and the pool. The pool was available from 11 until 2 with the rest of the center open all night for varied activities. The Pitcheblende furnished the music to keep things throbbing in the Mirror Room. Good idea Seniors! A little horse-play in the pool was enjoyed by most. ABOVE: The Pitchblende tassels, and are graduated. It loo ks like it hurts and he hasn't even hit yet.
