Dennis Maxwell goes way over the bar in the pole vault and two spectators look on with amazement. At left: Dennie is more familiar with high jumping as is shown here. He has gone 6 ft. this year and came in second in the confer- ence. Joe Lentz, however, holds the school record at 12' 4 . At left: ' Is that Bullock Creek's freshman high jumper? asked one coach. Yep, that's him shown clearing the bar right now. Jessie finished the year taking first at regionals and conference, and sixth at state. He holds the school record at 6! 2 .
