Having a regular season record of 5 wins and one loss, B.C.'s Cross Country team also captured the Regional champion- ship. B.C. won the game on the Lancer's home court 81--74, SINCLAIR MARTIN LEAD CLUB The Lancer's varsity basketball team finished the season with 10 wins and 7 losses. They were 5--5 in the Mid-Michigan B Conference, finishing in fourth place. Dave Sinclair and George Martin both seniors, were the sparkplugs that led Bullock Creek through a good season. Sinclair led the team in point av- erage at 17.7 per game, and also in rebounds with 16.1 per game. Dave was also named the team's most valuable player. Martin led the Lancers in free throws with a 75 per cent average. He was second to Sinclair in total points with an average of 15.6. George was named honorary captain. Leo Kempa followed Martin closely in the scoring race with a 13.1 average, while Ralph Wirtz and Jack McConnell were named most improved players on the club. Wirtz was also named best defensive player.
