1ISTORY CLASSES’ | NOCK ELECTION | S BIG HIT WITH STUDENT BODY A pro-Humphrey demonstration takes place as Dale Beach prepares to speak for Republican candidate, Richard Nixon. The 1968 Presidential Election was not at a loss at B.C. Students made posters and campaigned for the candidate of their choice. A special mock election was held with the students giving speeches for their own favorites. Rich Chenoweth gave Humphrey's supporting speech. The his - tory classes of Mrs. Gross sponsored the project. John Kempa, speaks for third party candidate, George Dale Beach is presenting the platform of the Repub- Wallace. lican candidate, Richard Nixon.

Out of 21 events entered from Bullock Creek, 8 groups and Solos received Ist division rat- ings and were qualified to com- pete in State Competition. The Sr. Varsity band pre- pared three selections for com- petition against other class B Bands in Mt. Pleasant on March lst. The Band came home with a 2nd Division rating with hopes for a lst next year!
