Tommy Gonzalez and Runnar Miller were named to the C.D.C. all star team both offensively and defensively. Runnar Miller was also named to the “All-State Team Honorable Mention.” Although next year’s team will be without such outstanding players as Connell Daniel and Pablo Ortiz, the team members hope to have a successful season. 118 119 Boys 7 Soccer The 1982-83 season was a rebuilding season for the Soccer Team, with only four seniors and one returning letter winner. The team lacked ex¬ perience; however, hard work and determination should help to make 1983-84 season a greater success. Dolores Cotto, Co-Captain Betsy Rodriguez, Co-Captain Deneen Fernandez, Lucy Fredericks. We worked hard and tried our best. Our record (6-9) was not the greatest, but that didn’t matter. I think that the most that any of us gained this season was consideration, under¬ standing, and respect for one another. Most of all, we enjoyed ourselves, and we owe thanks to Miss Horrigan for making it all possible. — Deneen Fernandez 124 m Girls’ Swimming Although comprised mostly of underclassmen, the 1982-83 Girls’ Swim Team had a productive season.
