11 «?!! ' if lK II bulkeley high school The following pages are dedicated to the members of the Class of 1978 and to their future. This yearbook is dedicated to the power and vitality of our youth, to the changes we can make, and to the improve¬ ments we hope will occur. We would also like to thank our parents and the teachers who have helped to shape us into the unique individuals we are today. For it is from their support and guidance that we draw the inspiration to fulfill our fondest hopes and aspirations. For four years we have grown together in every way imaginable. Before we go our sep¬ arate ways, let us stop and salute the Class of ’78. It is our sincere wish that our hopes and dreams of today will become the reality of tomorrow. The new building stands as proof that man is never satisfied the situation in which he finds himself. He constantly seeks improvement, altering his environ ment as best he can to suit his needs and aspirations. We must take incentive and seek alway to improve ourselves, fulfilling the dreams and visions we have of personal achievement, The Class of 1978 also wishes to take this opportunity to honor Mr. Ivanowsky for his many devoted years of service to the school. For we are sure that he now knows as we do leaving is not an easy thing to do. So, with our fond memories of days ' past and with an eagerness for I’m not one who make believ People hand in hand Have I lived to see the milk and honey land? Where hate’s a dream and love forever stands Or is this a vision in my mind? The law was never passed But somehow all men feel they’re truly free at last. Have we really gone Or is this a vision in this far through space and tin I know that leaves are green They only turn to brown when autumn comes aroun I know just what I say Today’s not yesterday And all things have an ending But what I’d like to know Is could a place like this exist so beautiful? Or do we have to find our wings and fly away To the visions in our mind? Stevie Wonder 8 We’ve been through some things together With trunks of memories still to come . .
