guidance motto... keep up with the times known to the students for its ever present helping hand . . . the guidance department is always willing to assist . . . whether it be bewildered freshmen or insecure seniors . . . unknown to the students . . . are the many new ideas that the guidance department is instrumental in introducing to bulkeley . . . a new emphasis on change and keeping with the times has prompted the guidance department ... to initiate the resource period for individual instruction and enrichment . .. and to use the co-op committee as a vehicle for better relations between students and faculty gabriel nisotis tiiv tennola john whalen romano janette brimmer scattered throughout the school in the recesses of reconditioned coatrooms . . . and in the balcony of the auditorium . . . re the important few who offer special services to the students . .. in the two days that she is here . . . the speech therapist utilizes various methods . . . to cure speech impediments . . . including the mirror technique . . . mr nisotis ... a full time social worker . . . helps students with emotional or social problems ... his job takes him out of school . . . into homes . . . even into juvenile courts . . . from a cramped corner in the balcony . . . mr whalen devotes his time ... to finding jobs for students on the work study program
