But let us first recollect the past. In looking back through the years, we shall have innumerable memories of our life spent here at Bulkeley. We shall recall, with happy remembrance, the friendships we ' ve made, the care-free moments we’ve enjoyed, and the time spent in just being a part of Bulkeley. The future now comes into view. It holds many possibilities; a twist of fate here or there may change the whole complexion of what lies before us. But we have received at Bulkeley all we need to cope with the future. We confidently step forward into the on¬ coming years with the knowledge that we have been thoroughly inculcated with the ideals of Bulkeley High. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those teachers and pupils who have willingly co-operated in the editing of this book; to Mr. McCrann especially for his untiring assistance and invaluable advice; to the office staff for their unselfish interest and willing aid; to Mr. McElney and Miss Safford for their wonderful spirit and excellent advice to the Business and Art Boards; to Art Editor Joan DeBenedetto and the talented art students who have contributed excellent sketches, Raymond Kolodziej, George Cataldi, Mary Amaio, Marie DiGregorio; and to the Head Typist Edna Hollerieth and her wonderful assistants Lucy Buc- cheri, Dorothy Eureich, Lucille Flanigan, Lucille Gozzo, Anna Jabionski, and Roxanne Sposito. who have given a great deal of their time and effort to make the Typing Staff both capable and competent; to Ign azio E. Salone for his vivid sports coverage; to the Photography Club, especially Stanley Phillips, for contributing the excellent candids which have added color to the Class Book; and to all others who have in any way contributed to its success. We wish to thank especially the Loring Studio, which has so generously presented us with the wonderful page of Torch Nite’’ shots, and the artistic print of Alan Stenberg. In special acknowledgment of her untiring aid cheerful guidance, and seemingly endless patience, we wish to thank Miss Dorothy Potter, knowing how often she has helped us pull through when the going was rough.
