Prophecy TIME: 1971 PLACE: THE WORLD This is the flight-log of Starship 7 on a one-year tour of the planet Earth. We orbit the small globe a few times and decide to come in for a closer look. The continent of America looms ahead of us in its overpopulated condition. As the vessel of the galaxies lands who should greet me but my old earthling buddy, Bud Nordan. He appears to be upset about his job at N.A.S.A. It seems they fired him for tardiness in the Data Lab Programming Project. I move on down the road toward a small farm where I find a human stooped under a creature called a cow. As the person raises his head Ty Johnson's face appears. From the looks of it, he's still hard at work milking cows and has been for 20 years. The small farm loses my interest as I move on to the nearest city which is New York. Here is the fashion center of Miss (?) Jenny Upchurch who has built quite a reputation for her- self. She later plans to go to a tiny town that rings a bell in my mind.
