Dedication To those who have given us their undivided loyalty, patience, and guidance; who have taught us to have faith in our own ideas and that failure is often a key to success and successes can bring despair; to those who have encouraged us to reach out for opportunities and ponder the mysteries of the universe as well as preparing us for the future, we dedicate this 1968 edition of the Legend to all those teachers who have composed the faculty of Buies Creek School from 1949 to 1968. To those who have cried at failure and have rejoiced at success; to those who have opened their mind to a brighter future; to those who have been brave and warm and willing to learn; to those who have been taught physically as well as mentally to go out and conquer the world and have faith in themselves, we dedicate this 1968 Legend to all of the graduating classes from 1949 to 1968. To that structure which, in the beginning, was only a dream and one day this dream turned into a mass of steel, glass, and bricks; to that structure which housed our education and to every block which was not laid in vain, but as a unique foundation for our aspirations, success, dreams, and future, we dedicate this 1968 edition of the Legend to that structure which will stand as a landmark in our lives, Buies Creek School.
