She is busy withher part-time career in education. It's getting so clouded, she is fading from my sight. A flash of lightning reveals that Linda Arrington is now the private sec- retary for the Sir Walter Chevrolet Company in Raleigh. Lalso see Betty Burkot. Sheis now happily married but spends her lei- sure time making grass skirts, teaching the hula, and sipping lemonade in the warm sun of Hawaii. A cloud is slipping by and I can see Linda Chappell, now a registered nurse with a happy family of three. Inanother flashI canbarely see Judy Lee. She is now living in Durham, the happy wife of a very successful T.V. producer. The light grows brighter andI can see that Johnny Dixon is now the head coach and P.E. teacher at Needham Broughton High School. Ican faintly discernSuzan Gregory, now married and living in Raleigh. As the storm begins to progress, in a thunder head I see that Johnny Suggs is now a prominent owner of a chain of dragstrips throughout North Carolina. It also reveals that Dudley Gill is married and living in New York and has become a famous Commerical Artist. The storm grows fiercer, the very atmosphere roars and rumbles. The light infiltrates the air. Betty Weaver is clearly seen as a secretary offa prominent lawyer in Jackson, Mississippi. The winds blows harder, the clouds begins to move. A small light pedps through the clouds andhere I see that Janet Byrdis married and has become a secretary for Acme Steel Company in Florida. The wind ceases, the lightning is flashing all about me.I see an image I can't make it out. Is it? Yes, it'sJanice Marks. She is now a four star general in the W.A.C. and is enjoying the warm sun of Hawail. Is there someone withher? Yes, it's Dianna Marks, now married and enjoying tak- ing it easy on the farm. Darkness fells the heavens. AsI look upI see a Single star. By it's light I can plainly see Sally Arrington, married and teaching the second grade at Buies Creek High School. The light is fading but I can see Shirley Matthews now married and living in Roxboro. The star has left the heavens and the thunder has increase, the flashes of lightningare tremendous. I see Sophia Savage now married and working in Raleigh. Now as the storm is moving toward the East,I see William Sawyer is now married and living in South Carolina. Edna Byrd is now a great author and her books are among the world's best sellers. The storm is almost over. The wind is still blowing. The flashes of lightning are ceasing. HereIsee Kay Turlington is now married and happy, living in Florida and raising her family of five.
