With this in our hearts, we, the Senior Class of 1961, humbly dedicate this edi- tion of THE LEGEND to Mr. Roy C. Parker. — Principal’s Message By Roy C. Parker It pays i know: Those who know HOW to get things done will always find a place in life, but the person who knows WHY it must be done will be his boss. If you know which direction to go you may reach your goal, but if you know the purpose for going you will outdistance all others in attaining that goal. The person who hag strong convictions is the one who 2 will not be fooled into trying short cuts and false trails. Your education will help to know what you want in life, then it will give you the knowledge you need in order to accomplish every task well. Roy C. Parker, B.S., M.A. Donald Y. Leggett, B.S. Nancy C. Oh! I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. JOSEPH EDGAR DAVIS, JR.
