Last Will And Cestament Having made our mark upon this worthy school, We the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty nine, do hereby proclaim this document official the following acts to be executed by whomever they may concern. Article I Article II Article I Article II Article II Article I Article II Article III Article IV Article V Article VI SECTION I To Mr. Parker our principal we leave our deepest appreciation for his patience and endurence, well tested by us this year. To our faculty we leave our respect for them and their efforts. SECTION II Tothe Junior Class we will our ability to cooperate in class projects. TotheScphomore Class we will our good reputation. To the Freshman Class we leave three years in which to become sophisticated Seniors. SECTION III I, Sharley Adams, will my ability to finish high school to Joe Gregory. I, Jim Boykin, will my ability to argue withthe teachers to anyone who can stand the strain. I, Jerry Burkot, will my locker to Lavern Gaskin to sell it for what ever he can get. I, James Butler, will my height to Johnny Suggs. I, Grace Byrd, will all my headaches to Ben Stewart and Marshall Johnson., I, Iris Cates, will my bruises from bas- ketball to Barbara Johnson. I, Carroll Leggett, will my ability to pay attention in class to Larry Stewart and Sergeant , I, Pat Matthews IV, will my cheer leading suit andthetitleas ''Chief Cheer Leader to Pat Matthews III, in order to carry on the good name. I, Gerald Pollard, will my love for jazz to no one since no one seems to want it. I, Brenda Stewart, will my ability to play basketball to no one, because Mr. Stewart could not put up with it another year. I, Polly Taylor, willtheback seat on The Blue Goose to anyone who can fill it and have as much fun as I have had. Senior Class History The seven members of our class who began school here and remained for twelve years are: Jim Boykin, born in Dunn July 16, 1941; Jerry Burkot, born in Lauren South Carolina, May 3, 1941; Grace Byrdborn in Barclaysville, Octo- ber 16, 1940; Flossie Ennis, born in Buies Creek March 22, 1941; Judy Gre- gory born in Erwin March 2, 1941; Brenda Stewart, born in Dunn on Febru- ary 27, 1941; Kenneth Turlington, born in Roseboro, January 6, 1941. Gerald Pollard born in Dunn, No- vember 29, 1940, attended school in Linden before joining us in the first grade. Iris Cates, born in Washington, D. C. September 22, Leggett, born in Windsor, September 3, 1941 joined us in the second grade, Iris went to school in Washington and Carroll attended school in Windsor before en- tering school here. In the third grade we had one student who camefrom Angier School. She was 1940 and Carroll — Judy Currin, Born in Angier, December 27, 1940. Sharley Adams, born in Dunn, Jan- uary 26, 1942, came and left us in the third grade returned in the fourth, left for three months in the sixth, and has been at Buies Creek ever since. She has attended school in Dunn, Carolina Beach, Angier and Salemburg. James Butler, born in Lillington June 13, 1936, started school here in the third grade and remained through the tenth. He then went into service for three years and returned here in 1956 at the second semester. Patricia Matthews, born in Angier, April 30, 1941, attended school in And- erson Creek and Coats before entering here in the tenth grade. Polly Taylor, born in Buies Creek, March 20, 1941, attended school here in the first and second grades fifth through eighth grades, and eleventh and twelfth grades. Shehas beento school in Bunn- level and Fayetteville.
