Ofass Frophecy May 28 -- The Senior Class of Buies Creek High School met last night to talk over old high school days. We had a wonderful time laughing and reminiscing over the good times we have had together. We were happy to learn that: Carolyn Jones is now head coach of the Buies Creek Girls’ Basketball Team. Mary Susan Ragland is still looking with the same ambition in mind. Graham Ryals has finally completed hislittle bungalow down on the banks of Black River. J. C. Matthews is a teammate of Mickey Mantle, but he is expecting to be sent down to a farm club any day now. Reid Rogers is still prolonging his education at State College. Jimmy Cates is now a very successful manager of the New York Knickerbockers. He is scouting around Buies Creek for likely prospects, Betty Boyd is still unmarried and happy. Jimmy Baker is now one of the Buies Creek's more successful farmers with his new Farmall Cub, Who's that zooming over Buies Creek almost every day? Why, it is Betty Dorman with her own private plane. It’s sure nice to have someone just out of the Air Force to teach you how to fly. Fordyce Page tells us he is a happy bachelor teaching history at Campbell. Barbara Lane is having a fine time housekeeping in Erwin. She really seems satisfied and happy. Ollie Faye Gaskin tells us she is a secretary in a large diaper manufacturing firm. Lodis Butts is having a wonderful time going to college and wondering where she will transfer to next. Web Turlington has finally established his own acoounting firm and has secretaries for his secretaries. Pete Green is still farming on his old homeplace, but he is keeping a careful lookout for falling airplane tanks. Bobby Dixon is still getting a new Ford every year and has turned into a regular Herb Thomas, Joyce Blanchard has her own future cut out with two little Blanchards. Webster Turlington J. C.
