CLASS HISTORY Sue Byrd was born September 20, 1932. She has been to school here from start to finish. She plans to enter college at Campbell, She has been a good student all through school. Barbara Johnson, born January 6, 1932, started from the first grade here and is still with us. She has participated in basketball and other acti- vities. After graduation, she plans to become a beautician. Doris Page, born February 8, 1932, entered Buie’s Creek School in the first grade and has been with us ever since. She plans to enter Campbell College after graduation from B. C. H. S. and take a business course. A. J. (Puny) Stephenson was born January 28, 1932, in Erwin, N. C. He joined our class in the eighth grade and participated in class activities and in school sports, After graduation, he plans to enter college at Caro- lina. Mazelle Mangum was born October 16, 1932. Her first grade was spent at Angier; then she joined us in the second grade, and she has stayed with us through the years. After graduation, she plans to enter college at. Campbell. Most of her interests in the last two years have been in basket- ball and a certain “Puny.”’ Sue Brown was born July 22, 1932. She entered school at Fort Bragg, N. C. In the tenth grade she entered Buie’s Creek High and is still here. After graduation she plans to enter College at Campbell. Cecil Waddell was born December 14, 1930. He entered school at Buie’s Creek in the second grade and we’ve enjoyed his company from then till now. After graduation he plans to enter Campbell College. His interests are mainly in sports. Rosalie (Choo-Choo) Stone was born October 1, 1932. She entered the first grade at Buie’s Creek. She has been active in all school sports, After graduation, she plans to attend Campbell, but has not decided on the course yet. Fleming Walker was born June 24, 1931, and started with us in the first grade but moved to Angier in the third year of school; however, he joined us again the following year. His life’s ambition is to be a profes- sional baseball player for the New York Yankees. Helen Ennis was born December 7, 1931. She entered the first grade at Buie’s Creek and has been with us all of twelve years. She participates in all school activities. Her plans after graduation are undecided. Billy Tally was born November 27, 1932. He started to Buie’s Creek in the first grade and has spent one year of school in Raleigh. His life’s ambition is to become a dentist. He plans to attend college at Campbell and Emory University. Eston Betts was born September 10, 1931, and has attended school for twelve full years. His life’s ambition is to make plenty of money. Betty Gray Walton was born June 24, 1932. She entered the first grade at Buie’s Creek, Then in the second grade she moved to Newton Grove and returned to Buie’s Creek in the fifth grade where she has continued her schooling. She plans to go two years at Campbell. Then she plans to study for a beautician.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT Having put our stamp of approval on these halls and classrooms, we, the Senior Class of nineteen hundred and fifty, do hereby proclaim this document official. The following acts are to be executed by whomever they may concern. SECTION I Article I. To Mr Johnson, our beloved piincipal, we leave our many thanks to your unerring guidance through this, our Senior year. Article II. To the faculty we leave our love and devotion for the many times they have raised our grades that necessary point. SECTION II Article I. To the Junior Class we will our love for Buie’s Creek High with all its privileges. Article Il. To the Sophomore Class we will our keen mind and intel- lectual ability. Article III. To the Freshman Class we will our good manners and dignified ways. SECTION III Article I. I, A. J. Stephenson, will my ability for making points in ball games to Peaches. Article IJ. I, Mazelle Mangum, will my time in study hall, pecking on the school’s typewriter to Betty Stephenson. Article III. I, Fleming Walker, will my ability for getting to school on time to Tommy Lloyd. Article IV. I, Eston Betts, will my ability for studying and making good use of my time to Ken Stafford. Article V. I, Sue Brown, will my love of basketball to Jean Ferrell, even though it will not be half as interesting next year. Article VI. I, Rosalie Stone, will my love for the back booth of the College Grill to Betty Talley. Article VII. Article VIII. I, Helen Ennis, will my love of working in Dunn to Sue Turlington. Article IX.
