TO OUR PATRONS: The public schools in this country, as in other countries, have been developed and operated according to the design set by the society which supports them. ln the past months there has been some interest shown, and some soul-searching evaluation made, regarding the part and place of public education in our coun try. When I look at the boys and girls of our own school, and at the millions of young peo- ple in schools throughout our country, l have no doubt that, it given the proper guidance, discipline, and learning opportunities, from the society in which they live, they will not fail us . As usual, the Mangonel staff and its spon- sor have done a Fine job of portraying a small segment of a mighty important activity, namel secondary education. We congratulate them.
