Would you thus have the youth of the world cynical, conservative, self- destructive and all-knowing as some with age so boastfully proclaim. Without the youth and dreams of the young, I wonder where we would be in our often viewed gloomy world of today. The theme so boldly chosen by the class of 83 readily asserts the aggressive ambitions of the next generation to take the stage of adult life. Oh, youth of today and generations of tomorrow, let us not forget that life is a celebration of knowledge and accomplishments to come. Who better should proclaim this than those who are ready to enter the adult world and who better should be thankful than those of us in that world. Robert J. DALETHORNSBERRY PRINCIPAL 1982-83 has been a year of change with the Freshman class joining us along with five teachers from the Junior High, Computer Science is being taught for the first time, and new policies on attendance and academic per- formance being implemented. I feel we now have a more cohesive Student Body; and I think we are seeing the beginning of a new era. You, the students, are the key to our suc- cess. Hard work and enthusiasm will assure our future. 1982-83 has been a great year. Because we have gained another class by absorbing the 9th grade into our curriculum, we are more united and together than ever before in the new high school. The student body of Buhl High School is very fortunate educationally and will become a valuable asset in our society. To the graduating class of 1983, I extend to you my best wishes. JERIL.
