Each morning and evening the country kids boarded their familiar buses. Here they could get together and discuss the day's events. xfpixv Y X Boys caught loitering were immediately put to work cleaning the walls. Soon our school had a much brighter appearance. At the first outbreak of war. a Iirst aid class was organized. Vlasses were held after school with the volllity nurse as instructor. lZI'0llq Z . 602 School was not all work and no play. There were munj- indool' games with which we amused ourselves at noon. What fun we all had sliding down the lmnisters--llut only when Bowers wasn't looking. At the end of each day came that mad scramble for the cloakroom. file ay 5 . . 4 . , p . My THE GIRL RESERVES started off the year with a mem- bership party. The girls pussy-ml an 1-yenim: of gaiety around the fireplace in the park roasting weiners and singing their favorite songs. Miss G.R. satisfied the hunger of our football and basket- ball fans by peddling candy at every game. One of the highlights of the year was a dinner given by Miss Potter at her home in Kimberly, followed by a roller skating party. flllllqll Ill l Xl ,S Tuff l'rouI ll--xx X' ,Xi4.Iiros. uliiw-:ii Ali.-N.-'. Coach Ralph Villers, who came to Buhl from Troy, Idaho, found good prospects for the season. The first game played by the Indians was a non-confer- ence tilt against the Glenns Ferry Pilots on September 27. This game ended, as many previous encounters xvith the strong class B team have, in a 0 to 0 deadlock.
