lt is because of Dean Reed that we have become the well-rounded men and women we are. She has passed on to us her religious conviction in elticiency, democracy and lea- dership. Her life embodies these things, and the examples she sets, the experiences that contacts with her have given us cannot be mini- mized. To Deon Catherine E. Reed and her convictions, Thank You. DEAN REED DEAN FRETZ Although Dr. Fretz is officially listed in the catalogue as Dean of Men, he is beloved by the women of the College as well. No one is closer to the students or more in sympathy with their views than he. No one generates more spark in his classes, or imbues more trust in his confidence. DEAN HORN ln many schools the dean is regarded as the one person to be left alone at all times. Our Dean Horn is constantly surrounded by students. We form lines that extend out into the hall while he works out our iumbled programs. We seek him out when we desire advice on matters of profes- sional or personal significance. We take great pleasure iust in conversing with him about the ordinary happenings of the moment. Because he can always find time for us in his busy day, we salute Dean Horn the popular link between the administration and the student body of College
