TEACHERS: AN ENIERGETIC LOT F W The '74 WYOIVIALO staff, on behalf of Buffalo High School, would like to congratulate lVlrs. Helen Nleldrum upon her retirement after twenty-eight years of teaching at B,H.S. IVIrs. IVleldrum is the prototype of a dedicated teacher and of a dynamic, enthusiastic individ- ual. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.A. in two fields, English and history. Since then she has gone beyond her lVlasters degree at the University of Wyoming. lVlrs. IVIeldrum has been involved in a wide vari- ety of activities: drama and speech activities, music, church work, Garden Club, Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, snow mobiling, and numerous community efforts, to name a few. Also she was the State Teacher of the Year in 1972. We would like to thank Mrs. Meldrum for her total devotion and we wish her well for a full and happy retirement. . 5 I x nf sax f Sharon Barrett Mary Belus Velma Bidonde Dianne Bergialli Clark Braten Sherry Brock Barbara Brophy Leslie Brown Laurie Cairns Cindy Borgialli Betty Brooks Tom Camine SENIOR SUPERIORITY CGIVIES BURSTING THRU FOREVER v . Slices of life, Too quick for my eyes. lVlost that have gone Are all of my friends, All of my friends My friends to the end, One day they are here, The next they are not. Please forgive my forgetting, I just forgot...to say I love YOU. Tears of sorrow From my heart fall away. Tears come and go With each passing day. Loving myfriends, X Or those that remain. I try to say different, But nothing's the same. Living without you Is simply pure hell. IVly heart is broken, Words just can't tell. Nly body is tired, Worn out from crying. They say men don't cry, So I'll have to keep trying. I'd give my life ' And all that I own, For one final' moment With you alone. A POENI T00 LATE Go back to the past, Correct all the wrong. Live my life with you, But life's not that long, Look what I've done, What a fool I have been. When you were serious, I'd laugh or I'd grin. You kept on trying When you should have quit. You should have seen That I wasn't fit, I took it for granted, I didn't save, I didn't return The love that you gave. I didn't kiss you, A Though you held my hand, Dried tears from my eyes, Helped make me a man. I never knew, I couldn't see, Whatever it was That you saw in me. Yet the world keeps turning, I must live on. Make friends' lives worth living Even though you are gone. I visit your grave H T At least twice a week. I talk to you, But you'Il never speak...to me again And I really don't blame you A. R Lopez 3l25l74 A 2 i 2 2 5 Q 5 Q 5 ' L ? E E 5 K ! 5 5 Q ij., i i 5.-T f , L, 1 A , 1-fn.
