Senior We, the Seniors of Buffalo High School, Class of 1957, being in a state of general disorder and confusion, do hereby declare this to be our last will and testament. As we leave the cherished halls of our dear old school, we would like to will to the un- derclassmen, the following tried and worn out possessions: JOANN RUNG wills to John, her ability to talk all the time. He should to use it. Pat, her privilege to leave the lunchroom first so she can beat Floyd to the ping-pong table. Dennis, her wads of gum in her desk in the English Room. Sharon, her old shorthand notes. Maybe she can decipher them, 1 can’t. ARTHUR DOVER wills to Donald, his ability to grow “tall in the saddle.” Sharon, his huge appetite, and his big feet. Floyd his even temper. John, his good Latin grades and his ability to sneak quietly through the halls. ROGER PETERSEN wills to Leona, his ability to make a lot of noise. John, his ability to talk majestically and coherently. Floyd, his desk in the front of the room and all the paper in it. Dennis, his chemistry book and formulas, maybe he can figure them out. I never could! ARTHUR WILBER wills to Victor, his short pencils and fast cars. John, his ambition. Pat, his last sheet of typing paper. CAROL WETZEL wills to Donald, her ability to come to class on time. Pat, her perfect attendance record, in hopes that it will be of same good to her in the future. Victor, her dilapidated bookkeeping books. They might do him some good during the next two years if he can read them. Leona, her place as cheerleader and the tattered and torn yell book, which was a cherished possession during basketbcdl season. TO OUR TEACHERS we will the following: Our battered and scribbled school books. Our desks full of chewing gum, old papers, and pieces of pencils. And, last but not least, our “excellent” grades and our outstanding ability to answer questions brilliantly.
