The next year we moved into the intermediate room and were quite proud of ourselves. 7-is year we found ourselves with a new classmate, Daniel Crabtree. We had lost one .issmate, Lloyd Crabtree, and we also had a new teacher. She was Miss Amanda E-rOrge (Lilley). In the fifth grade we again had a new teacher, Miss Vera Greenslate. That year there ere six in our class. They were Hilliard McDonald, Daniel Crabtree, Patsy Hines, !:Ann Harrison, Lois Flugge, and June Dover, The sixth grade was the same with the exception of the loss of one classmate, Patsy Hines. We had the same teacher. ■Ten we were in the seventh grade, we moved from the intermediate room to the old English room upstairs. That fall we had a new member in our class, Connie Scritchfield. We also had a new teacher, Mr. Darcangelo. We lost JoAnn Harrison at the end of our seventh year so during our eighth grade we were .eft with Lois Flugge, Connie Scritchfield, June Dover, Hilliard McDonald, and Daniel Irabtree. This fall we also returned to find two new teachers, Mr. Gay and Mr. Conroy, On September 7, 1955, when we returned for our last year of high school, we found all of our old classmates from our junior class, namely, Lois Flugge, June Dover, Hilliard McDonald, Daniel Crabtree, and David Conroy. Our teachers for our last year were Mr. Hageness, Mr. Conroy, and Mr. Kennedy. 37 PROPHECY While relaxing on the terrace of my home one afternoon in the year 19 5, I looked up to see someone coming toward me and recognized him to be Mr, Kennedy. He was very curious to know where the graduating class of 1955 had gone and what had become of them. I gladly volunteered to try to find them. My first quest was to find Lois Jean Flugge. I contacted her parents and they informed me she was Head Nurse at the Ajax Hospital located on Mars. I hopped into my atomic powered plane and was soon in sight of the planet. When I met Lois, she told me she was conducting research on a vaccine that would cure every ill. She informed me that June worked in the same hospital. After congratulating Lois on her work, I looked up my cousin June who was engaged in secretarial work. June was married and had four children--all boys; named Carlye, Roscoe, Clint, and Bernard. Working as a secretary isn’t at all hard”, says Mrs. June Twiddly; ”A11 my equipment is electric, even my pencils. ” After a good visit with the nurse and secretary, I took my leave and decided I would stop in South America on the way home. Upon landing, who should I see but Daniel Crabtree busily repairing an airplane. Daniel was in a terrible hurry to finish his job so I waited for him to finish. Soon a young lady walked up and introduced herself as Hildegard Crabtree, Dan's wife. Hildegard began telling Dan how to repair the air- plane (of course she knew nothing about it). Poor Dan. Finally, getting a word in edge- wise, I asked Dan where Hilliard and Dave were. The greasy mechanic said Dave was athletic director at the university of Alaska but had lost track of Hilliard. I thanked Dan for his helpful information and was off for Alaska. In no time, I met Dave and soon learned that he was coach of the world famous basketball team The Skyscrappers . Dave told me in addition to his job as coach, that he prospects for uranium. I asked him where I might find Hilliard. Well , said Dave, Hilliard has finally succeeded in be- coming a six star General of the 7th Division in the Antarctic. I said good-by to Dave and soon joined the General. Hilliard was giving orders to march faster or else freeze to death. I saw that Hilliard was busy so I didn't bother him. He looked in wonderful health. Must have been the fine meals the army served. With my mission accomplished, I returned home to report about the very successful trip I had made and that I found all the former graduates well and happy. 38 Honor Awards cu-e primary room Billy Kennedy, Donnie Wiitala, and Rachel Christensen had perfect .---lance and received awards for their attendance. In the intermediate room the ones received the awards were Pauline Philpott, Frances Kennedy and Mervin Philpott. f ;nly student in high school that had perfect attendance was Carol Wetzel. 7' e three cheerleaders Joann Rung, Carol Wetzel, and Genevieve McDonald received . iris for being the cheerleaders for 1954-1955. 7: annual M.I. The Senior Class Will was read by Daniel, the Prophecy by Maralyn, and the Class History by June. Junior-Senior Prom The Junior-Senior Prom which was held May 14, 1955, proved very successful. The theme, Melody of Love'J was carried out by having a blue sky covered with stars. The walls were of blue and white streamers, making the form of criss crosses. Around the bottom of the crosses there were hearts with music notes on them. The stage was decorated with a rock fountain sitting on a small hilltop with the blue sky in the back ground. Flowers were scattered about on the green grass around the fountain. 40 Autographs 41 Autographs BOOSTEES Central Music.............. 3-B's .................... Central Motor Co...........
