ART CLUB The purpose of the Buffalo High School Art Club is to serve the school and the community through the media of their artistic abilities. This year the art club was bigger than ever; consisting of 51 members. The club accomplished many things this year. The first major en- deavor of the club was the construction of a float for the football festival parade in which they received first place honors. On Octo- ber 31st, at 5 o'clock a.m., a bus load of sleeping Art Clubers left for Kansas City. While in Kansas City, they toured Hallmark Cards and the Nelson Art Gallery. Between tours was some free time in which they visited Crown Center. Art Club designed and decorated the stage for the 1979-1980 carnival entitled The Gift of the Nile Besides decorating the stage, they also decorated many people at the carnival at King Tut's Tatoo Shop.
